What has changed on the Suzuki Celerio?1
The exterior on the Suzuki Celerio features a new fresh front end with a redesigned bumper and a more predominant blacked-out grille with a large Suzuki badge taking place. Suzuki has also reworked the fog lights to blend in with the headlights and shoulder line of the Celerio. The wheel covers have been redesigned, and the car has been garnished with a new sticker strip to help highlight the width of the Celerio.
With the new styling, it has given the Suzuki Celerio a more refined look. The top of the range GL model can be distinguished by the colour-coded side mirrors, door handles and chrome accents on the grille.
The interior of the Suzuki Celerio features a new two-toned dashboard design with a light-coloured lower section, which represents the new upholsteries lighter patterned seat in-lays.
The new Suzuki Celerio comes in two models, the GA and GL specifications. Both these models feature power steering, air conditioning with pollen filter, vanity mirrors, a security cover and shopping bag hook in the boot space and they have a 12V accessory socket as standard.
The GL model has Bluetooth enabled audio system with phone accessibility and USB port. The Celerio has front and rear electric windows, remote central locking, alarm system, tilt and adjust the functional steering wheel and electronic side mirrors.
The GL Celerio’s instrument cluster now features an outside temperature gauge and tachometer. There are cloth inserts in the doors, a 60/40 split foldable rear bench and a day/night rear-view mirror.
What is the Suzuki Celerio’s performance like on the road?1
The new Suzuki Celerio has the same engine as its predecessor. The Celerio is still powered by its proven 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which has a power output of 55kW and 90Nm of torque. The engine is either paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed automated manual gearbox.
The Celerio has a claimed low fuel efficiency of 4.6 L/ 100km for the automatic version or 4.7L / 100km on the manual version.
How well does the Suzuki Celerio handle?1
The Suzuki Celerio is a tremendous daily vehicle and is a great city dweller. It handles around suburbia very well making it easy to get in and out of tight parking spots and in and out of tight corners.
