The Black Style package was first successfully applied in 2019 to the pre-facelift Volkswagen Tiguan and the Touareg. The Black Package is a striking exterior trim kit that makes the car stand out on the road with its black trim options and optional blacked-out wheels.
Which cars have the Black Style Package? 1
Both the Polo Vivo Comfortline and the Highline model have the Black Style Package. The Package includes black 16-inch Portago alloy wheels, a gloss black roof and mirror caps, gloss black B and C pillar covers, black side sill covers, privacy glass, a body-coloured boot spoiler, and a chrome exhaust tip as well as anthracite sun visors and headliner. The Black Style Package is only available in Flash red, Reef Blue, Pure White, and Reflex Silver exterior colours.2

The Black Style package on the Highline model costs R8250, while it’s R9000 on the Comfortline model.

The Black Style Package is still available for the Tiguan and Touareg models and the new Golf 8 GTI. According to cars.co.za,1 making the Black Style Package available for several VW models could indicate that sales figures are possibly below expectations.

The GTI kit includes piano black side mirrors, a piano black chrome strip placed on the front grille, and black 18-inch Bergamo alloy wheels. This upgrade will cost you R8000.
The Black Style Package on the Tiguan 2
The Black Style Package includes body-coloured lower door parts and bumper, black air intakes with fins on the radiator grille, black exterior mirror housings, black decorative trim on the side windows, black roof rails, a black headliner, a sport suspension and a black 20-inch Suzuki alloy wheels. This Package will cost you R28 000.
