Recruitment Consultant
Main responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer negotiation and employment contract preparation.
- Talent Sourcing: Proactively source candidates using various channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, employee referrals, etc.) to build a strong talent pipeline.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new recruitment technologies to optimize recruitment strategies
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner with department leaders to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and specific hiring needs. Advise on job descriptions, candidate profiles, and interview strategies. Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews Interviewing & Evaluation: Conduct phone and in-person interviews, assess candidates’ qualifications, and make hiring recommendations.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and professional interactions.
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS, ensuring compliance with recruitment policies and procedures.
- Onboarding Support: Collaborate with the various onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, assisting with the initial stages of the onboarding process.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source of hire) and provide insights to improve hiring processes.
- Employer Branding: Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and recruitment initiatives, showcasing our culture and values to potential candidates.

Qualification & Experience
- Matric
- Completed Degree from a reputable tertiary organisation
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, be articulate and fluent in English
- Previous recruitment experience with a solid understanding of the recruiting life cycle
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
- Familiarity with labour laws and recruiting best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet set targets
