PayFast Payment Conditions
Premium Payment Conditions with PayFast by Network
Prime Meridian Direct t/a Prime South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Prime”) provides short-term motor insurance cover to South African clients. PayFast by Network (“PayFast”) is used for settling outstanding monthly premium and excess amounts. No physical goods or services are offered via this website.
Available Payment Options
Payments may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, or EFT. Payment links are sent directly to clients via SMS or email and redirect to PayFast’s secure platform.
All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
Confirmation of payment
Upon receipt of payment, confirmation will be sent to the payer via SMS or email within 3 business days. As this payment relates to insurance premiums, no physical delivery is applicable. Policy updates or reinstatements (if applicable) will be processed in accordance with our internal procedures and communicated directly to the client.
Refunds Policy
Due to the nature of insurance services, refunds are not typically applicable. However, any erroneous payments made in excess or duplicate will be reviewed and, if validated, refunded within 45 days. Clients may contact Prime to initiate a refund request.
Privacy Policy
We take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of our clients, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Security
Card transactions are acquired via PayFast by Network, an approved payment gateway for South African Acquiring Banks. PayFast uses SSL3 encryption and complies with industry security standards. Visit PayFast to view their security certificate and security policy.
No card details are stored on our website.
Prime takes responsibility for the payment transaction process, such as customer support, dispute resolution, and processing of payments. This responsibility does not extend to the PayFast platform, which is governed by its own terms and policies.
