What you need to know about becoming a PMD Motor Body Repairer.

Find out how you can become part of a team of people that believe in providing clients with world-class client service. If you would like to join our Repairer Network, you have come to the right place.

  1. How do I apply to become a PMD Motor Body Repairer?
  2. Please send a copy of your company profile and a signed copy of the PMD Motor Body Repairer Technical Self-Assessment to: pmdrepairpanel@primemeridian.co.za.

  3. Where can I find the PMD Motor Body Repair Technical Self-Assessment document?
  4. Please download the document here.

  5. When will I get feedback on my application?
  6. We will endeavour to give you feedback on your application within 14 business days.

  7. What is the process following an application?
  8. After we have received your application, we will compare your service offering to that offered by members currently on our network and other applicants we have received that service your geographical area. The following points will be considered:

    • Whether there is a need to add a service provider in the geographic area you service in order to meet the demand as a result of sufficient claim volumes;
    • On balance, whether your application is stronger than any competing applications or other providers whose Service Level Agreement is coming to a natural end. Metrics used to evaluate your application include:
      • Previous service performance data; and
      • Commercial terms.
    • Whether, according to your PMD Motor Body Repairer Technical Self-Assessment, you are fully compliant.

    Otherwise, we will inform you, in writing, that your application has been unsuccessful, outlining the specific reasons for such and what needs are to be remedied as well as when you should re-apply.

  9. What will happen if my application is unsuccessful?
  10. We will provide you with feedback in writing including the reasons why the application was unsuccessful and a reminder of when an application can be resubmitted.

  11. How often does PMD review the Service Level Agreements and Panel Requirements?
  12. Our Service Level Agreements are 12 months in duration.
